I’ve been at Cirencester Friendly for over three years, working with and growing our Strategic Partners and managing the Key Account Management Team within our Business Development function.

I’m driven both inside and outside of work so when I’m not doing the day job, I’m a competitive sportswoman taking part in running and cycling events and fitting in all the training that gets me fit enough to do so!

With over a decade at the Society, I’m passionate about building strong partnerships and helping firms grow their protection business. Closing the protection gap has never been more important, and I enjoy educating Advisers on how income protection is the foundation for financial security when the unexpected comes around.

Outside of work, you’ll find me planning my next trip, trying new foods, going to the theatre, or fitting in a yoga class. My travel bucket list just keeps getting longer!

Having only been with Cirencester Friendly for three years, I’ve progressed from Business Development Consultant to Business Development Manager in a short space of time. With a background as a Financial Adviser, I understand first-hand what Advisers need to help their clients find the right protection solutions.

I enjoy most sports, especially cricket and football, and spending time with friends and family. As a husband and a father of three myself, I’m passionate about educating Advisers on how important income protection can be for individuals and their loved ones.

Currently in training as a Business Development Manager, I’ve been at Cirencester Friendly for just over two years. You’ll often find me out and about at industry events throughout the year, and I enjoy hosting webinars to help educate Advisers on our products and unique offerings.

When I’m not on the road or in the office, you’ll find me on the golf course, or the football pitch. And I love to spend time with my little cockapoo!

Being the newest addition to the Distribution Team, I’m looking forward to learning everything I can about the protection industry. I’m particularly interested and passionate about helping those who find themselves in unfamiliar and unexpected situations. I’m pleased to have joined a business that shares my values of being fair and striving to do the right thing.

I do love routine, so on any given week you’ll often find me at the gym, taking long walks in nature and spending time with my family.

I’ve been spreading the word about income protection at Cirencester Friendly for 16 years now. I spend my working life driving results, ensuring our products deliver the best outcomes for our Members, helping and supporting my teams to hit their goals and grow their careers, and keeping multiple plates spinning managing the Distribution Operations framework.

Life at home is no slower, I’m massively outnumbered by my two young boys and husband, who permanently keep me on my toes and sleep deprived!

I’m relatively new to the Society, but I bring vast experience from across the financial services and protection industry. What’s stood out to me the most is our commitment to putting our customers first, whether that’s through the service we provide or the way we support people at claim.

When I’m not working, I can be found at home with my two rescue dogs, Lola the Frenchie and Luigi the Staffie. I also have my own podcast which is listened to in over 120 cities and has over 4,000 downloads!

Emily-Kate is currently on maternity leave until January 2027.

I’ve recently started my career journey as a Business Development Consultant, bringing with me a wealth of product knowledge from my time in the Adviser Services Team. I’m excited for the challenges ahead and am particularly looking forward to helping Advisers on a more personal level.

Outside of work, my greatest means of escape is travelling to new places and enjoying live music at concerts and gigs. More recently, I’ve been making the most of every opportunity to spend time with my beautiful new granddaughter, and I’ve loved every minute of it!
